It’s always crucial that customers know your business hours, it's especially important during the holidays. Add a pandemic and you guessed it, more important than ever. Nowadays it’s not quite as simple as hanging a sign on your door but, it’s also not very hard.
Follow the easy steps below to update your hours on Google My Business. If you haven't claimed your business on Google yet, you need to get on that! It's completely free, very easy and the benefits are amazing. If you need help getting started, contact me. Claiming and setting up businesses on Google is something I do regularly.
Sign in to Google “My Business” account
Click ‘Info’ from the side menu
Click “Add Special Hours”
Make edits to your business hours
Click ‘’Apply” (Don’t forget to click apply!)
While you’re at it, take a moment to update customers of any extra precautionary measures or safety procedures you are implementing for the season by updating the information on your page. And that’s it! Your customers are updated and you’re ready for the holiday season!
